OUR WORK AND MISSION
We are excited to be volunteering at Hope Africa Collective, which is a non-profit organization based in Cape Town, South Africa. Their work is in the townships of Cape Town, where they bring education and trade-skills to young people to break entire families out of the poverty cycle. To read more about what they do, go to their website at the bottom of this page to learn!
We will also be working with a team of people to pioneer a prayer and worship movement across the city, partnering with local churches and congregations to come together in prayer to see a shift in the city.
As you can imagine, our scope and actualities of what our daily life and work look like is shifting and changing as things fall into place. Join our Pray Vine and newsletter to stay up to date!
The Vision
We envision a movement of revivalists who host the manifest presence of God and raise up compelling disciples who live in presence, formation and mission with Jesus. To catalyze Cape Town into her prophetic destiny as the Mother City of revival in Africa. To be an apostolic movement that births revival and renaissance in all spheres of society and across the nations.
How will it look?
Houses of Prayer
Houses of Prayer across the city in partnership with current local churches that minister to Jesus and contend for revival and transformation in the city,
Missional Communities
Missional Communities that embody the Kingdom in everyday life, and reach out to their region together with the saving love of Jesus. These Groups will partner with local ministries and churches to bring the gospel to every corner of the city.
Ministry School
A School of Ministry that raises disciples and equips revivalists to live and lead in God’s power and love, and take the gospel to "all the world."
We believe in ending poverty through empowerment and opportunity.
"In 2009, Jeremy and Bridget Hilliard co-founded Hope Africa Collective. The vision? To end poverty, not through hand-outs and charity but through empowerment and opportunity. While some organizations focus on one aspect of need in an impoverished community, Hope Africa Collective has a multifaceted approach that helps the whole person. Because poverty is complex, so are we. The combination of education, economic development, spiritual formation, and life development is impacting individuals and communities in transformative ways."
